Warangal Fort in Warangal District of Telangana State: Warangal is known as one of India's best towns with a lot of history. It is 150 km from Hyderabad, which is the state capital. It is also the state of Telangana's second biggest city. The name of the city comes from the Telugu word Orugallu, where 'Oru' means "one" and 'gallu' means "stone." According to Warangal's history, the beautiful city was built by the Prola Raja of the great Kakatiya family in the 12th century. The Kakatiyas ruled the area for more than 200 years. They left many great monuments and architectural marvels, such as the famous Warangal Fort, the Swayambhu Temple, and many other amazing old buildings. The city's biggest attraction, the Warangal Fort, is over 19 kilometres between Warangal and Hanamkonda. The fort was built during the rule of Kakateya King Ganapati Deva in the 1300s. The arches and piers of the Warangal Fort make it most well-known. This fort has four big gates made of stone.
