Wyra Lake in Khammam District of Telangana State - How to Reach: The Wyra Reservoir is a medium irrigation project built across the Wyra River, which is a branch of the Krishna River. It is in the Khammam district of Telangana. This reservoir is a favourite place to visit in the area. It is close to the town of Wyra. The Wyra Reservoir was built in 1930 and opened by Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the President of India at the time. It provides drinking water for eight mandalas around Wyra. It also makes it easier to water hundreds of hectares of land, which helps the local farming community.
