How To Withdraw EPF Amount Online & Offline
Up to 75% of the money can be taken out in different situations, such as "Education or Marriage," "Medical Treatment," "Construction Purchase of Flat/House/Plot," "Repayment of Loan," "Renovation House," and "Pre Retirement." Still, withdrawals are subject to certain rules. Before requesting a withdrawal, you should ensure your request meets the rules.
Before you start the withdrawal process, you should ensure that the Universal Account Number (UAN) for your EPF account is activated. UAN should also be linked to the Aadhaar number and bank account. If not, you can't withdraw money from EPF.
Steps To Withdraw Amount From PF Account Online
Step1: Visit the EPF Official Website: https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/
Step 2: Log in with your UAN and Password. The next step is to complete the "Claim (Form-31, 19, 10C, and 10D)" form online. You can find these forms in the online services menu. After entering your bank account number, you must check the details.
Step 3: The next step is to agree to the "Certificate of Undertaking" or the terms and conditions of the transaction.
Step 4: If you file your claim online, you will be asked to answer a few questions. Most of the time, the question asks if the withdrawal is too soon. And if it is, the reason for the withdrawal must be given. You'd have to submit scanned documents to prove your point.
Step 5: After you enter the amount needed or you want to withdraw, you will get an OTP on the phone number you used to sign up for Aadhaar. Once OTP is verified, you can send your request.
Step 6: You can also find out how the claim is going on the portal. Most of the time, it takes two to three weeks for the request to be approved and the money sent to the person's bank account.
Step 7: You must meet certain conditions to get a partial refund from the EPF if you take money out early. EPF is a safety net that can be counted on in a financial emergency.

Steps To Withdraw Amount From PF Account Offline
Step 1: Download the Composite Claim Form here (Aadhaar or non-Aadhaar).
Step 2: People who use the Composite Claim Form (Aadhaar) must link their Aadhaar number to their primary bank account number (this is called "Aadhaar seeding") and give details about their bank account. Also, you must go through a process to activate it through the portal.
Step 3: Conversely, people who use the Composite Claim Form (Non-Aadhaar) to withdraw EPF do not have to go through the Aadhaar seeding process.
Step 4: After filling out the information, people must send the form to the EPFO office in their area. In this case, you also need the employer's signature.
