Mini Tank Bund Kalki Cheruvu, Banswada in Kamareddy District: Banswada Kalki Pond will be turned into a mini tank bund. Boating facilities have started in Kalki Cheruvu of Banswada town. They were officially opened by Banswada MLA and Hon'ble Telangana State Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy on Saturday evening, January 9, 2021. Many people from the town will probably go to the lake to use the new feature.
Banswada has a growing population, is a significant centre for several mandals, and has many people moving in and out of town. Because of this, the Banswada Municipality has focused on making parks and other places to relax.
Since the Nizamsagar canal also sends water to the Kalki Cheruvu, it will always be full. So, the Tourism Department ensured there were places to go boating with modern, safe boats. Officials say a park will soon be built next to the mini tank bund.
