Laknavaram Lake in Mulugu District of Telangana State - How to Reach & Timings: Lakhnavaram Lake is a popular place to go on a picnic. It is in Govindaraopet Mandal, about 70 kilometres from Warangal. The lake is a beautiful thing. Three narrow valleys were filled in to make the lake. Each valley has a short wall built in its place, and the hills act as a natural barrier between them. In the 13th century A.D., the rulers of the Kakatiya dynasty built the lake. The lake is tucked away in a quiet area, another benefit. This makes your vacation very private.

The Lakhnavaram Lake, which is hidden by the hills, was found during the Kakatiya rule, and the rulers made it bigger so that it could be used to grow crops.
