The most disciplined Lord Shri Ram spent some of his fourteen years of exile here, according to mythology. The small brook bears witness to the notion that Sita, Lord Shri Ram's wife, bathed in it; the location is known as Sita Vaagu. Every belief is supported by evidence, such as the impressions in Parnasala's "Radhagutta." Another narrative related to the history of this historical village is that Lord Shri Ram fought Maricha Rakshas in the same location when he disguised himself as a golden deer to deceive Goddess Sita.
Parnasala, a popular picnic destination in Bhadrachalam, is claimed to be the location where the evil-minded ruler Ravan abducted Goddess Sita. This location depicts the main events of the epic Ramayana through artistically covered statues of Shri Ram, Sita, Laxman, and Ravan.
