Makkalai Thedi Maruthuvam scheme aims to improve the
health care system. All eligible beneficiaries of the scheme are expected to get healthcare benefits from the scheme.
Public health care workers, volunteers, physiotherapists and
nurses will bring health services to the
doorsteps of the patients under this scheme.
Medical checkups and treatment at home will be ensured for the common people of the state. For patients with hypertension and diabetes, medicines will be handed over by the healthcare workers.

Thanjavur, Coimbatore, Madurai, Chennai, Tirunelveli, Tiruchi and
Salem can get their names registered for the scheme.
