YSR Matsyakara Nestham 2024 Application Form, List of Beneficiaries: AP YSR Matsyakara Nestham 2019-20 is launched by the Andhra Pradesh Government. On World Fisheries Day, Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy announced the scheme for the welfare of the state's fishermen. Through YSR Matsyakara Nestham, the Government will give financial assistance of Rs. 10,000 to fishermen in no fishing season.
The allowance will be provided in a two-month non-fishing period from April 15 to June 15. The former government had given Rs.4,000 as assistance; it has increased to Rs.10,000 and will be directly credited to the fishermen’s bank account without any corruption issue. Through the AP YSR Matsyakara Nestham Scheme, operating mechanized, motorized, and non-motorized fishing nets will be enhanced.
Also, those fishermen affected by drilling exploration conducted by Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation for 13 months in 2012 will be compensated. A total of 16,559 fishermen from 8 mandals in East Godavari district lost their livelihood due to this oil drilling. Oil Company had already paid compensation of Rs. 68.88 crore for 6 months, and the remaining amount of Rs. 78.24 crore for 7 months would be paid by the AP Government through YSR Matsyakara Nestham.
They will set up Integrated aqua labs in 46 locations at Rs. 56.53 crores, and these labs will test the quality of water, sand, feed, and seeds for the benefit of aquaculturists. A Budget allocation of Rs. 720 crore will be provided to aqua farmers for Rs. 1.5 per unit to benefit around 53,550 farmers. There will also be rights to fishermen on canals on lease at a nominal cost and provision of input subsidy through this YSR Matsyakara Nestham Scheme. YSR Navashakam Survey will be done to identify the beneficiaries of the scheme.

8) Those Fishermen who receive Rythu Bharosa, Vahana Mitra, and pension benefits will get holiday assistance through YSR Matsyakara Nestham.
9) Among 1,32,332 fishermen, families will be benefited from AP YSR Matsyakara Nestham Scheme.
10) Those fishermen affected by drilling exploration conducted by Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation for 13 months in 2012 will be compensated.
11) Integrated aqua labs in 46 locations at Rs. 56.53 crores will be provided, and these labs will test the quality of water, sand, feed, and seeds for the benefit of aquaculturists.

Legal and permanent residents of Andhra Pradesh are eligible for the YSR Matsyakara Bharosa scheme.
Beneficiaries must belong to the fishing community. The age of the candidate must be above 18 and below 60
years. Those who own a fishing boat can get a subsidy on fuel. The applicant must hold a valid bank
account.

As most of the uneducated and senior fishermen might not be able to submit the applications online, the registration process for the YSR Matsyakara Bharosa scheme will be done by the volunteers. The volunteers
will visit the houses of the fishermen's community and gather the details about the fishermen and their family
members. Gathering information will be sent to the related state department to scrutinize and
ensure the data is correct. Then the list of beneficiaries will be prepared. A beneficiary pass is issued
with the name and personal details. The documents required for the application are a residential certificate, Aadhar card, fishing boat registration documents, bank account details, age proof, and occupational proof certificates. An occupational certificate can be obtained from the Fisherman
Association in the state.
The list of beneficiaries of the Scheme will be selected by the YSR Navasakam scheme. We will update you with each and every update related to the scheme. The beneficiary list of the YSR Matsyakara Nestham welfare scheme will also be updated immediately after the completion of the enrollment process of the YSR Navasakam Scheme.
