YSR Asara Scheme - How to Apply, Benefits & Eligibility: YSR Asara scheme is a welfare scheme launched by Andhra Pradesh government for women. Women who are poor, old will get financial support. The loans of these women who work for self help groups will be waived off. It is expected that more than nine lakh women will be benefited by this scheme. How to Apply For YSR Asara Scheme

To apply for the YSR Asara scheme, one must consult the nearest bank. Help desks in the bank will have the application forms. Take the application from them. Fill the application with details such as name, gender, age, date of birth, residential address, Dacca number, mobile number, previous loan amount etc. Attach all the required documents and submit the application. Get an acknowledgement card from the bank officials. This card can be used to check the status of the application.

The applicant needs to attach the following documents to the application. These include the Aadhar card, residence certificate, caste certificate, income certificate and the details of a bank account. DWCRA group ID and two passport size photographs also need to be submitted.

Benefits of YSR Asara Scheme

Under the YSR Asara Scheme, the women will be given a total of 75,000 rupees in four years. Not only are these loans offered for zero interest. The interest is paid to the banks directly by the bank. Every eligible family is expected to get up to Rs. 50,000 benefit per year because of this.

Eligibility For YSR Asara Scheme

To apply for YSR Asara scheme, the applicant must be a resident of Andhra Pradesh state. Only women can apply. She should belong to the minority communities. Age of the applicant must be between 45 and 60 years. State or central government employees are not eligible. Other state women cannot apply for this scheme. They should not own a four wheeler and the land in their name should be below 5 acres.
