Amma Vodi Scheme Eligibility & Beneficiary: One of the prestigious welfare schemes of the Andhra Pradesh government is the Amma Vodi scheme. Under this scheme, the government will provide Rs. 15000/- financial assistance to the beneficiary for educating her children. This is applicable to 1 st class to intermediate students belonging to the public as well as private schools. The beneficiary will directly receive the amount in their bank account. It is the responsibility of the beneficiary to ensure that the child maintains a minimum of 75% attendance in school. The scheme is meant to increase the literacy rate among children of below poverty line families and reduce drop-out rates due to financial problems.

To apply for the Amma Vodi scheme, visit the official website of the Andhra Pradesh government. Look for Amma Vodi application form on the homepage of the website. Download the application, fill the details, and attach the necessary documents and also attach the photo of the student. Filled in the application needs to be submitted in the government office or it can be uploaded to the official website of Andhra Pradesh government.

For submitting the Amma Vodi scheme application, the documents that need to be attached are – passport size photograph of the student, Aadhar car, white ration card, PAN card, Voter ID card/Aadhar card/PAN card/passport for address proof, school/college identity card, and school certificates. The details of the bank account of the beneficiary also need to be submitted. After announcing the beneficiaries list, funds will be transferred to the bank account. To check the status of the payment of the scheme, visit the official website using the Aadhar card number to check the details.

Eligibility For Amma Vodi Scheme


  1. To avail the benefits of the scheme, the beneficiary must belong to below the poverty line category.
  2. This is applicable only to the students belonging to Andhra Pradesh state.
  3. They should be permanent residents of the state.
  4. The students need to have an Aadhar card, white ration card.
  5. The beneficiary must be studying in government, private, private aided or unaided schools/junior colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
  6. They must maintain 75% attendance in school.
  7. Children of state government employees are not eligible.
