The Telangana state government has now added brides from backward classes (BC) and economically backward sections to provide scheme benefits at par with the brides belonging to SC, ST, and different communities.
To apply for the Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam scheme, Application/registration forms can be filled out online through the state government's official website using the steps below.
Eligibility Criteria of Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam
(a) The unmarried Girl shall belong to BC / EBC communities.
(b) The unmarried Girl shall be a resident of Telangana State.
(c) The unmarried Girl should have completed 18 years of age at the time of Marriage.
(d) The combined income of the Parents of the BC/ EBC girl shall not exceed Rs.2,00,000/- per annum.
(e) The Wedding of the BC / EBC girl shall be on or after April 1st, 2016.
Apply Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam Scheme Online
1) Visit the official Telangana Govt Center for Good Governance website at https://telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in/
2) Click on the "Kalyana Lakshmi" banner on the Home page.
