Jagtial District with Mandals and Tourist Places in Telangana State: Karimnagar District was split into Jagtial District and Karimnagar district. It is surrounded by the districts of Nizamabad, Nirmal, Mancherial, Peddapalli, and Karimnagar. At Jagtial and Metpalli, there are three revenue divisions. The district headquarters is in the town of Jagtial.

The district is crossed by the Godavari River. The SRSP Project is a big dam that draws a lot of tourists. The Buddhist Sthupa from the 2nd century BC in Dhulikatta is important for history and archaeology. Holy temples like the Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple at Odela and the Sri Varahaswami Temple at Kamanpur Mandal are in this district. From Jagtial to Peddapalli, there is a train that goes through Karimnagar.

People from all over the world visit the holy temple of Sri LaxminarsimhaSwamy on the banks of the Godavari River at the Dharmapuri Mandal headquarters. Thousands of people visit the Sri Koteshwara Swamy temple in Kotilingala village in Velgatur Mandal and the famous Sri Anjaneya Swamy temple in Kondagattu village in Muthyampet village in Mallial Mandal. The Jagtial fort is close to the town and has a lot of historical importance because it is the only star-shaped fort in Telangana that has a moat full of water around it.
