Chandranna Pelli Kanuka Scheme Working Process
1) The bride and groom should visit the DA/WEDPS in the Secretariat 30 days after their marriage to apply for the scheme. Alternatively, they can fill out the application form on the official website.
2) Both physical and online application forms will be sent to the WEA/WWDS.
3) The WEA/WWDS will conduct field verification and e-KYC for the bride, groom, and bride’s mother and upload the necessary documents.
4) After verification by WEA/WWDS, the application will be sent to the MPDO/MC.
5) The MPDO/MC will check all the documents and remarks from the WEA/WWDS. After verifying, they will forward the application to PD-DRDA.
6) The PD-DRDA will verify the documents and forward the application for a six-step validation.
7) After the six-step validation, the application will be sent to the district collector’s office.
8) Once the district collector approves the application, it will be forwarded to the respective State Welfare Corporations.
9) The respective Corporations will process the payment to the bride’s mother or the bride, as applicable.
